COMA - Outside the house. (Play it here.)

Your Coma is loading..
The title of the game is Coma. It’s a short but sweet 2D side scrolling game with an eerie story. You play as Pete, who is neither human nor monster, you’re just sorta a black blob with little arms and legs. The game begins in what is assumed to be your house. Someone seems to have left strange messages on the wall which don’t make much sense in the beginning. Messages such as “This world is a lie,” and “Ring the dore bell.” Once you reach the outside you are greeted by Bird who tells you that your father has locked your sister in his secret basement and it’s up to you both to save her. And so begins your adventure beyond the house and into Redwind Field where you must solve a few puzzles which will help you get closer and closer to the truth.
The backgrounds are simply designed and the colors are monotonous but together with the soundtrack they create one aesthetically pleasing package both visually and harmoniously. The controls are simple to grasp and there is not a lot you have to do in terms of interaction with your surroundings. Conversations are automatically enabled, items are grasped simply by jumping into them and the most you have to do is jump and press a few buttons.
The ending of the game gives a feeling of release and sadness. The music changes towards the end and the final shot is actually quite peaceful and beautiful.
